Look, let's be real here. It is unlikely that any other piece of video game news that is set to come out this year will be anywhere near as exciting as the announcement of a HD remaster of the NES classic DuckTales game. Sorry Xbox 720.



Capcom today announced from its PAX East panel that the beloved DuckTales platformer from the 8-Bit era is being remade by developer Wayforward (Contra 4, Adventure Time, BloodRayne: Betrayal) and will be available Summer 2013 (or Winter 2013 for those of us below the equator).



We are anticipating the return of Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie and Launchpad McQuack with baited breath. Seriously, just listen (and sing along) to the theme song in the trailer below and try to contain your excitement. It's impossible.
