New Lobo Redesign Sucks Ass

DC has revealed its newly redesigned 'New 52' take on the classic (but silly) character Lobo, the badass bastich bounty hunter-slash-intergalactic biker, and it really, really sucks ass. The new Lobo is a slimmed-down, metrosexual-looking monstrosity. It's hard to truly believe how drastic this character's redesign has been. But wait, you thought you'd already seen Lobo appear in the 'New 52' comics already? Think again! According to DC Editor-in-Chief Bob Harras, the one we'd seen earlier was just a phony, and this real Lobo (shudder) is out to kick his ass. "A ruthless killer, Lobo is on a quest to kill the man who has taken his name," says Harras. How long before this bullshit gets thrown out the window? Ten issues? Let's hope it's shorter than that. As if Evil Ernie's recent redesign wasn't bad enough. Let's just hope this awful design doesn't somehow make its way into the Lobo movie that's been promised for so long.
