New Trailer For CHAPPIE Makes Me Happy

I need this. I need this in my soul. March can't get here soon enough. I will admit, I find the trailer's insistence on painting Hugh Jackman's character as "a man corrupted by power" is kind of baffling, especially when he's practically the goddamn John Connor of this film. All he wants is to prevent artificial intelligence from taking over the world. Doesn't seem so evil to me, but who knows how it'll play out in the actually film. Either way, CHAPPIE is hitting all the right buttons for me. I love Neill Blomkamp, I love Die Antwoord, I love movies set in South Africa, I love the actors involved and I love movies with robots and mechs in them. Full of win in every regard. Only thing that puts me off a little is Dev Patel. His whole 'wide-eyed earnestness' schtick kinda gives me the shits. Check out the second trailer for CHAPPIE below:
