Scott Adkins and Isaac Florentine Are Back in NINJA 2 Trailer

We love Scott Adkins around here, in particular in his excellent martial arts film NINJA (which I wrote about here). Now, Adkins and director Isaac Florentine (NINJA, UNDISPUTED 1 & 2) are back with a fantastic trailer for their NINJA sequel, NINJA: SHADOW OF A TEAR (holy shit that is an awful title. Can we go back to NINJA 2?). This time, Adkins' character Casey goes looking for revenge in Burma after his beautiful pregnant wife Namiko is murdered. He will have to face Sho Kosugi's son, Kane Kosugi (REVENGE OF THE NINJA, which Marcey wrote about here), and Vithaya Pansringarm, who played the Angel of Death in the fantastic ONLY GOD FORGIVES (reviewed here by yours truly). The fight choreography in this trailer is off the heezy, but it is a little strange that there aren't many dudes in ninja costumes on screen (aside from a couple shots of Adkins at the beginning of the trailer). It looks more like an all-kicking, all-punching remake of the last RAMBO movie. Not that there's anything wrong that. Are you excited about the film?
