Trailer for NEED FOR SPEED Starring Aaron Paul

Well, I know all of you have been just giddy with anticipation for the cinematic adaptation of EA's NEED FOR SPEED racing game series by ACT OF VALOR director Scott Waugh, so now you can finally cool your engines with the first trailer for the film, starring our favourite pink man, Aaron Paul. First thought: seeing real life versions of these incredible supercars racing around the streets with cops chasing after them just looks amazing. It literally looks right out of the game, so the filmmakers have certainly nailed that aspect of the series.

Second thought: who would've thought that a NEED FOR SPEED movie could take itself so damn seriously? Is this an adaptation of NEED FOR SPEED or Shakespeare's TITUS ANDRONICUS? Is Kenneth Branagh going to show up as Razor Callahan? Admittedly, it could just be some creative editing on the trailer's part, and the film's tone might end up being something closer to the game, though it might be weird to see such anguish and heartache on Aaron Paul's face as Lil' Jon screams "To the window!
