Josh Brolin Meets His Tormentor in this New Clip from Spike Lee's OLDBOY

Spike Lee's reimagining of OLDBOY hits Australian Cinemas December 5th. With less then a month before release, Film District appears to be working overtime in promoting the film as a slew of new clips have hit the airwaves in the past few days. Here's just one of those clips for your consideration.
In this clip, a recently paroled from captivity Josh Brolin meets his tormentor, played by Sharlto Copley, for the first time. Enraged, Brolin reaches for a Knife and lunges at him with Deadly Intentions.
For those who have never seen the original Korean film, OLDBOY tells the story of Joe Doucett. An advertising executive who is kidnapped and held captive in a one-room apartment for 20 years with no explanation as to why he is being held captive. After 20 years spent in his prison, and with thoughts of Vengeance clouding his mind, Joe is released back into civilisation. But not without a purpose as Joe's tormentor lays a challenge upon him. To find out why he was locked away for 20 Years.
In its original form, OLDBOY was a Revenge Thriller told with a Grandiose Operatic Style. If I had to be presumptuous, I'm still of the opinion that everything I've seen so far from Spike Lee's version looks comparatively cheap. Although that is not to say that I have entirely written this remake off yet as I do like the casting of Josh Brolin and Sharlto Copley and I do see some potential in those two actors pulling it off. But only time will tell. OLDBOY Hits Australian Cinemas December 5th --------------------------------------------------------------
