R.I.P Paul Walker: 1973 - 2013

Sad news to bare today as several sources have now confirmed that Paul Walker has died in a tragic car accident. First reported over at TMZ and confirmed by representatives of the family. It is with a heavy heart that we say good bye to a man taken long before his time.

Walker’s career began with secondary roles in films such as VARSITY BLUES, PLEASNTVILLE and SHE’S ALL THAT. However, it was in 2001 when Walker shot to prominence with his portrayal of an undercover cop in the Blockbuster hit THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS.

While most will remember him for THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise, it is without question that his finest hour came courtesy of the much overlooked 2006 film RUNNING SCARED. The gritty tale of a low ranking thug entrusted by his mob boss to dispose of a gun that killed corrupt cops, but the situation exacerbates as the gun winds up in the wrong hands. Walker’s performance in RUNNING SCARED knocked it out of the park. Further helping to lend him creedance amongst genre fans world wide.

Paul Walker is survived by his 14 year old daughter Meadow.
