DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Teaser is Sublime

Hail Caesar! Hail to the chimp*! Seriously, THIS is how a teaser should be done. Slow burn restraint that doesn't leave you feeling gypped in any way. It leaves you with a sense of palpable excitement. I love the fact that special effects have gotten so good, that we can look directly into the eyes of a CGI character in extreme close-up and buy the emotions entirely. Well done to Andy Serkis and the entire team at WETA (here's a video interview I did with Special FX wizard Joe Letteri for the first film). I'm ridiculously pumped for this. JJ Abrams' new STAR WARS movie could disappear tomorrow and I wouldn't care, as long as we have DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES to look forward to.
