Liam Neeson Takes a Dark Turn in A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES Trailer

After cruising through a bunch of entertaining (if not spectacular) action movies (TAKEN and THE GREY aside), Liam Neeson is ready to return to darker material with an adaptation of Lawrence Block's mystery book A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES. Directed by Scott Frank (THE LOOKOUT), the film sees Neeson as a grizzled ex-cop working as an unlicensed private detective (I so hope he partners up with Jonathan Ames from BORED TO DEATH) who takes on a job tracking down the killers of a drug kingpin's wife. The whole affair seems quite sinister, and it looks like this mystery will plunge Neeson down a rabbit hole of darkness he may or may not make it out of. It looks totally excellent.
